How much does it actually cost to hire a campervan in Ireland?
One of the upshots of the covid pandemic was that, with more of us holidaying at home, so many people discovered how nice a place ireland can really be. There’s fantastic scenery and loads to do, especially for those who love history, spending time outdoors and who can deal with the odd spell of bad weather. What puts a lot of people off ireland though is the sheer cost of accommodation — it can be awfully expensive to go on holi days here — though for those who are willing to go back to basics and avoid hotels, a camping or campervan holiday can be a really rewarding and relatively inexpensive way to experience ireland.

One of his recent customers is kerryman peter clark, who found the pressures of recent month s inspired him to take the plunge and buy the van he'd always wanted. "i'd been thinking about getting one for the last five years," explains the emergency medical technician. "but at the moment i've had a lot of changes with my job and, seeing things from a different perspective, i just decided to go for it - now i'm sorry i didn't do it years ago. I can clean it, keep it sterile and, even with work being busy, after a long day i can get into the camper and spend the night locally," he says.

June 2017 - great news for mannix point: the irish times considers it one of the best places to stay in ireland. It describes mannix point as “one of the most beautiful campsites in the country”! why not experience it for yourself? i'm looking forward to meeting you. In january 2014, the international dark-sky association (ida) awarded gold-tier status to the newly established kerry international dark-sky reserve. This is only the 3rd gold-tier reserve in the world and the first in the northern hemisphere. This is great news and official recognition of a fact that i had known for a long time: southwest kerry has exceptional starry night s and is a great place for stargazing.
