Who Let the Books Out?
New irish writing is an opportunity open to writers who are irish or resident of ireland. It’s free to submit. Stories submitted should not exceed 2,000 words. Up to four poems may be submitted. ENACTUS IRELAND NATIONAL COMPETITION
The junior version of the all ireland with categories from novice, u15 and u20. Usually held late summer ncffi junior all ireland feeder championships a one day event for the junior feeder angler takes place in october. Ncffi all ireland lure angling championships new for 2022 is the first lure angling by boat national championship. Also serving as one of three qualifying events for team ireland ncffi senior inter provincial championships the provincial councils hold qualifiers are held throughout the year for ncffi members to represent their province at this two day competition. Graduate. Ie is a free online competition for second level students to take part in and learn about important local and national topics. Students who complete the competition can be entered to win one of many educational trips to the european parliament in strasbourg in 2022/2023. Our mission is to engage, inform & inspire young people graduate. Ie has been in operation since 2001. It is a government, local government and eu funded citizenship & democracy programme for second level students in ireland. *all winning students will be accompanied on the trips by qualified teachers/garda vetted personnel.
The ipf run a number of competitions during the year. The two main club competitions are the national shield competition held in november and the national champonships, held in april. In addition, there are two individual competitions, the print & projected images competition and the national nature competition. Both of these are by individual entry. Entry to both of these competitions is only via regional rounds. It is ipf policy that national panels representing ireland abroad will be picked from the top images entered in these national competitions.
